The brief was a contemporary home shaped around everyday comfort. Rather than rely on colour, we kept the palette restrained and tonal, and let texture carry the character of the interior.
That emphasis is clearest in the surfaces. Hand-carved fluted marble wall finishes give depth to the principal rooms, and herringbone flooring runs beneath them with a quiet, ordered rhythm. Each surface was detailed so that the neutral palette reads as layered rather than plain.
In the bathrooms, veined stone, a curved mirror and integrated lighting form one continuous composition, while illuminated timber niches introduce warm task lighting within the stone-lined walls. Elsewhere, soft upholstery, warm wood, textured stone and sculptural lighting come together as a calm, contemporary retreat.
The result is a timeless family home: comfort found in the detail of each surface, and rooms composed for the way the family lives each day.
